Math March 16 5th grade
Hope all of you are doing great!  We missed  you at school today.  Also today was Matthew's birthday!  Happy birthday to you Matthew!

Everyone has done great!  I received all of your homework and I've returned it.  If you want to make corrections to the ones you've missed you can.  Just send me another picture.  I'm finding it is easier for me to do the assignments through email.  It is pretty hard to read on my phone and I can't make any marks.  I found out this evening how to make notes on your homework with my computer and return it back through email.  Continue to do what ever is easier for you.  So far so good.

Remember tomorrow you have reading.  Two chapters,  part of the questions in chapter 7 are review from chapters we have already read.  Billy finally names his pups.  What does he name them?

AG in the Classroom (Today would have been our AG in the classroom today.  Martha Cripe shared a link to share with students.  Feel free to learning about our milk.

You guys are doing great!  I emailed a few of your parents  a google form.  If you didn't get one it is because I don't have your email.  I was messing around trying to find other ideas of ways to do homework.  Let me know what you think of it.  I won't say anything about our story yet since there are a few assignments still out there.  Hopefully, some of you were able to get outside today.  The weather wasn't too bad.

You are all do so good with your work!  Did you find out the names of Billy's dogs?  I hope so, Little Ann and Old Dan. He is busy training his dog to hunt raccoons.  What are your dogs names?  You can type it in the comments below if you like.  My dogs are Rusty and Sandy.
It is too rainy to go outside today.  Hope your finding something fun to do today.

Thinking of some ideas of things you can work on at home.  One of them is typing tutor.  Maybe you can come up with a good way of making a no peek. You could continue with typing tutor that we do in class or find some typing games.  Just remember NO PEEKING!  You have all done so good memorizing your keyboard.
I have also been thinking about our classroom book Fake.  I may have to make a trip to school and get the book and read it to you through a video.  I know several of you, myself include are interested in finding out what happens.  I'll keep you posted.

Where the Red Fern Grows - Ch. 11-12
The end of our first week home.  It seems that it has gone pretty smoothly.  The teacher came up with some fun days for next week.  Have your parents check out the school Facebook  If they don't have Facebook let me know and I will send you the days.  Have a great weekend and thanks for being such great students.  I'm very proud of you and your hard work.  Also thank you parents, without you this would not be possible.

Assignments for date March 30 – April 3
Please continue to receive assignments and watch videos on Mrs. Ponzel’s Blog at http://mrsponzel.blogspot.com/   Go to the tab that represents the date for daily assignments.  I made videos to teach new math lessons.  If math is a review there is no video.   If there is a problem, please send me a Facebook messenger message, an email or text and I will try to adjust.
You can either print the assignments off or have your child write the answers on paper to submit.
Please continue to turn in your child’s homework by taking a picture, then email or text it to me.  It should be turned in by the next day at 8:30 am, just like they would if we had school.  My email is sponzel.spls@gmail.com and text to 618-292-4883.
Please check my blog, I try daily to communicate with the students and parents.
If your child would like to work ahead, I am okay with that.
